This is the same high-quality ballistic fabric that has been used extensively in bulletproof vests and military "Flack Jackets.” This material was originally designed to stop bullets and shrapnel making this possibly the toughest refractometer holster ever made. Although it will help protect your Palm Abbe, it is not intended for personal ballistic protection.


Weather Resistant Cover
Although not waterproof by any means, the ballistic nylon material will help keep unwanted sprinkles off the instrument.
