AMAX Remote; Software to Control Your Abbe Max Digital Laboratory Refractometer from your Computer Refractometer Remote Access and Control has never been this easy. The MISCO Abbe Max is the first refractometer in the world with a Microsoft Windows Operating System and graphical user interface. AMAX Remote is a remote control software application that runs on a Microsoft Windows PC and allows a user to view and interact with the screen of an Abbe Max Digital Laboratory Refractometer. Any actions that you take on the Abbe Max will be mirrored on the PC and visa versa. AMAX Remote software extends the ease of use, that the Abbe Max is famous for, onto a Windows PC. Since the screen you see on the computer is identical to the refractometer screen, there is nothing new to learn. Anything that you can do from the Abbe Max Refractometer screen you can do from within AMAX Remote. AMAX Remote Software also adds additional functionality to the Abbe Max. From within the AMAX Remote program, the user can open and view an Abbe Max history file in Microsoft Excel, print or save copies of the Abbe Max screen for documentation, and save and restore the Abbe Max software and settings. Set up is simple. Just insert the program CD into the computer’s CD or DVD player and let the setup wizard do the rest the software installation. You then simply connect the PC to an Abbe Max Digital Laboratory Refractometer with a USB cable and you will instantly see a mirror image of the Abbe Max screen on the PC monitor.
