We accomplish our strategy by being one of the industry's leading innovators in refractometry with the ViewPoint Illuminator (the first handheld refractometer illuminator), the fourth-generation Palm Abbe digital handheld refractometer, the Abbe Max digital laboratory refractometers, and our new ground-breaking inline process refractometers and refractive index sensors. We provide you with cutting-edge technology which is easily applied to your fluid measurement needs.
The entire management and staff of MISCO is dedicated to the complete satisfaction of each customers' needs by providing our full personal attention and the highest professional standards. Our key commitment is to consistently exceed our customers’ expectations with respect to the quality of our products and services at all levels of our organization.
“Conflict minerals,” as defined by the U.S. Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010, Section 1502(e)(4), originating from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) are sometimes mined and sold, under the control of armed groups, to finance conflict characterized by extreme levels of violence. Unfortunately, some of these minerals, and the metals created from them (such as tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold), can make their way into the supply chain of products used around the world.
As part of our respect for human rights and our commitment to corporate responsibility in our own operations and in our global supply chain, it is our policy that we will not knowingly source or use components containing Conflict Minerals should these minerals originate in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), an adjoining country, or other conflict zone.
MISCO’s suppliers naturally acquire and use minerals from multiple sources worldwide. MISCO acquires no material directly from the conflict zone or directly from any smelter. We expect our suppliers to have in place policies and due diligence measures that will enable them to reasonably assure that products and components supplied to us containing conflict minerals are DRC conflict free. We expect our suppliers to comply with the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) Code of Conduct and conduct their business in alignment with EICC goals and objectives.
